What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness means paying attention to what’s happening in the present moment in the mind, body and external environment, with an attitude of curiosity and kindness without judgment. We speak of mindful listening, tasting, seeing, speaking, moving, touching, 

Mindfulness is being present to one's emotions, feelings, bodily sensations, and thoughts.

Mindfulness in Schools Programme. Promoting well-being and positive mental health in Ireland.

Mindfulness Programme for Primary and Secondary Schools has been proven to be an effective bullying prevention tool around the world and implemented successfully in thousands of schools.


Mindfulness might soon become a part of SPHE curriculum and help to support positive mental health practice in Irish schools. It is an investment in your child's mental health and well-being for years to come.


For us, teaching mindfulness to children is like planting a seed which with time and practice has a chance to become a strongly rooted base for a happy and confident adult who deals well with stress and challenges, is capable of forming strong and healthy relationships and also develops emotional intelligence.


Our programme is inspired and based on Mindful Schools Curriculum, however, it is not entirely thought as Mindful Schools Curriculum but adapted by adding more art, stories and sound relaxation to it. Teachers and parents are included in a programme as well.


The programme can be tailored to the school needs and finances.

We also run workshops for teachers and parents separately.


It's very effective as a bullying prevention practice. It develops self-awareness and self-esteem in children.

Our programme is designed to fit any group age and classroom, both at the primary and secondary levels.

Teachers are also to benefit from it, learning tools to continue to work with mindfulness in their classroom and their daily life.


The programme can be stretched between 8-30 sessions, 15 min - 1 hour in duration.

CD with mindful practice and materials for students, parents, and teachers, also art materials are included in the price.
